In Maulburg, the company Endress + Hauser has built a measuring section for radar level measurements that is unique in the world and more than 60 m long. In order to exclude the influence of temperature fluctuations on the measurements, the building was constructed as a white tank in the groundwater. For control purposes and in order to be able to carry out any necessary grouting work, the approx. 1600 m² floor area was equipped with a MERO type 6 NB36 raised access floor with applied linoleum covering.

A panel heating/cooling system installed in the cavity of the raised floor compensates for minor temperature fluctuations.
