Client and planner put special emphasis on flexibility for this project, thus all floors are executed as Raised Access Floors. With this you can access the installation area at any point on the floor with a single grip.

The whole office area is executed with an incombustible Raised Access Floor with a factory applied Needlefelt covering. The Raised Access Floors of the IT areas are able to bear single loads up to one ton and are completed with integrated frame substructures. For ventilation / cooling of the rooms, perforated steel panels with 51 % free airflow are used.

The 24-hour control room is the centerpiece of the project. Workstations are staggered in four levels (550, 735, 915 and 1095 mm from raw floor) and barrier-free connected via ramps and a scissor lift. To ensure an undisturbed working environment, the building acoustics engineer required a sound absorption level αw ≥ 0.65. Our installed “Silent” panels significantly outperform this value with αw = 0.8 (L) and still fulfil the requested point load of 5 kN.
