Single and line maintenance dock modules



A significant part of the MERO-TSK dock modules consists of the well-known MERO bars and nodes, which form the supporting structure. Various steel profiles are used when mechanical equipment such as sliding platforms, flaps, chassis and hoists need to be attached. With flexible solutions and the best possible access even to critical areas, MERO-TSK guarantees ideal working conditions for its customers and users.

Individual dock modules such as light platforms, access steps and other standardized products used mainly for line maintenance and A and B checks.

Overhaul Dock Systems
These customized MERO-TSK dock systems are designed according to the maintenance philosophy of the respective dock operator. The docks in this category can be designed as floor-standing modules and/or modules suspended from the hangar roof. In principle, our docks can be equipped with all the necessary installations.

The MERO system can be flexibly adapted to customer requirements and local conditions. For example, a maintenance dock / overhaul dock suspended from the hangar roof was developed for a customer, which allows the dock to be extended or shortened in a longitudinal segment design. This ensures that aircraft types of different dimensions can be maintained without any problems.
Most of our customers are interested in electrical installations, explosion-proof and/or non-explosion-proof or compressed air installations. On special request, we can also supply installations for tank ventilation and hot and cold water supply.

Maintenance docks
These complete systems consist of individual docking modules. The use of individual modules or as a complete system allows inspection, maintenance and partial overhaul work through to D-checks on defined aircraft types, either on wheels or jacked up. Access is provided to all relevant maintenance areas. The use of these maintenance systems, consisting of individual docking modules, enables the customer to carry out targeted and selective maintenance work on the aircraft.
One of the MERO universal docks can be used for aircraft such as the Airbus A-310, Boeing B757/-767, Ilyshin IL 62, IL 76 and IL 86. The dock consists of one fuselage and tail dock half on each side of the aircraft. The supporting structure consists of a lightweight MERO rod-knot system. The dock halves can be moved on rails using an electric motor. All work platforms are variable in height and can be adjusted at any time.
Universal maintenance docks allow safe access to all relevant maintenance and painting areas such as the nose area, windshield, fuselage, upper fuselage, upper wing area, wing area, horizontal stabilizer or vertical stabilizer. In this way, we offer the user cost-effective aircraft maintenance (sometimes reducing downtime costs) while maintaining the highest quality standards “Made in Germany”.
