The Global Switch data center is located in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, which was developed by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park to maintain Hong Kong’s position as the world’s leading business hub. Hong Kong’s largest operator and cloud-neutral data center with a first-class infrastructure area of 70,000 square meters.

The MERO raised floor system with calcium sulfate panels was selected to meet the MOB-PSA standard which is often specified in the Hong Kong market. For the first phase they reached the platinum level of the LEED certification. The operator is also working hard to achieve the Hong Kong Green Building Council recognized BEAM Plus new build gold level.

The execution period was from 2017 till 2020. The project management and installation were executed by our long-time partner, Shun Wah Contracting Co. Ltd, Hong Kong.

Global Switch is the developer for this spectacular project and is renting this data center space to various key players in the IT industry
