Bugis Junction is the first air-conditioned shopping mall in Singapore. The four transparent entrances completed in spring of ´95 provides an exiting invitation for a shopping spree.
The facade is made up of suspended horizontal girders to which safety glass panes with a thickness of 12 mm are fixed by means of "butterfly" fixing plates. Facade and roof area of 2.200 sqm in size are silicone-sealed. The cable braced roof membrane construction conforms to neighbouring roof structures.
