On the outskirts of the city of Toul, eastern France, a new combined cycle gas turbine with an output of 413 MW was built. MERO was in charge of manufacture, supply and erection of the supporting structure as space frame; manufacture, supply and erection of the aluminum lamellas with substructure as well as supervision.

The 175 tons steel structure with a modular dimension of 2 x 2 m and a construction depth of 1.40 m is designed in such a way that the sheet metal sheathing is taken by particular mounting points. These aluminum lamellas are permanently mounted. In total, an area of around 5,265 sqm is encased with sheet metal (external contractor) and aluminum lamellas (MERO). s
