- Scope of work: Special structure for feeding the cables into the transformer platform
The first commercial offshore wind farm of Germany is located north of the Darss-Zingst Peninsula, within the 12 nautical mile zone.
MERO-TSK contributed specially designed structures for feeding the cables into the transformer platform using a deflection roller. These structures were made of the patented MERO KK system.
The challenge lay in the task of taking up cables from different angle positions and pulling them up. Due to the particular situation at the offshore installation site only erection personnel with special qualifications was employed for the job.
